Happy Birthday, Sadie!!

Sadie turns ten today. She is excited to be in her first "double digits."

Birthday Girl

Sadie turned 9 Monday. We had her favorite supper last night--chicken and wild rice casserole. I made her a very simple cake with lavender and brown frosting (her choices.)

Birthday Party

T.S. chose an army theme for his cake this year. I created a battlefield scene the best I could.

We had a small party and enjoyed time with friends and family. T.S. loved all of his presents--he and Robby have been engrossed with the remote-control helicopter he received; but I think he liked getting to play with his friends the most. It was fun to watch the girls read him his cards.

It was too cool and damp to launch rockets, so we'll have to have a rocket-launching party another day.

Breaking News...

T.S. insisted on taking the training wheels off this evening. We did and he peddled right off. The bike is a little too tall, so getting on by himself is tricky.

He peddled away then jumped off, threw his fist in the air and pronounced, "I'm okay!!" (He thinks you jump off to stop.)

Here he is riding off into the sunset towards the west.
